What Should I Wear?

We are so glad you asked! What matters most for your photo shoot is that you feel comfortable in your own skin... and shoes!

Clothing should fit you well, be ironed and reflect your personal style and/or the style you wish to have represented in your pictures. Avoid busy and distracting patterns or screenprints in your main clothing pieces. If you are a couple or family, care should be given to selecting coordinating, but not too matchy match, clothing. Choose a color scheme that you LOVE and an accent that pops for more visual interest (colors that will look great as 30x40 canvas print above your mantle is never a bad idea, *wink*).

You have unlimited clothing changes, so feel free to bring a few shirts and accessories along!

A quick note on make-up: Just like your everyday look, use hues that will play up your best features and will compliment what you are wearing. Don't be afraid to play it up a notch, so that your features don't wash out under lights. Exfoliate and moisturize your skin well the night before your shoot and avoid face creams and foundation with SPF the day of your shoot. Due to the reflective nature of most "shimmer" colors, matte makeup works best!
